Colin Hall
NZERF Board Member - NZ Thoroughbred Racing

Colin Hall represents New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing on the NZERF Board.

After graduating from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa with a postgraduate degree in Genetics, Colin went to work for the National Horseracing Authority, or The Jockey Club of South Africa as it was known then.  During the 30 years that he worked there, he acquired an extensive understanding of horseracing, which included working very closely with the Equine Research Centre of the University of Pretoria to develop export protocols for racehorses.  In 2017 he relocated to New Zealand to work for New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing and is now the Racing Compliance Manager.

He is the secretary of the Equine Health Association and is a also a volunteer at Riding for the Disabled.
