NZERF Books
The New Zealand Equine Research Foundation is proud to support the publishing of booklets on key issues or topics associated with equine health.
The New Zealand Equine Research Foundation (NZERF) has commissioned the publication of key booklets for the treatment and maintenance of equine health, with the aim of sharing scientific research and industry knowledge with all horse owners. These publications, which cover a range of topics from laminitis to breeding and genetics, are available as educational and reference tools for all levels of the equine industry. The NZERF hopes to raise the knowledge of all those owning and working with horses to the highest international standards, and the booklets are distributed free of charge to members of contributing organizations and are available on their website.
As a charitable trust, the NZERF's activities, including publications, require considerable work and cost. We are grateful for the support and encouragement received from organizations such as the NZ Equine Veterinary Association and invite those who share their passion for improving equine welfare to contact us for further information or to support our Foundation. Six of our publications are available for download online, while hard copies can be requested using the form after the list of booklets below.
