Danielle Guiver
Undergrad Scholarship Recipient 2019
Danielle's passion for horses began in England, where she started riding at a young age.
When she moved to New Zealand at the age of 11, she continued to ride and develop her skills as an equestrian. Her love of horses led her to work in a racing stable and on a sport horse stud, gaining valuable experience in the equine industry.
In addition to her work in the industry, Danielle has also pursued opportunities to contribute to equine research. She was selected for a summer scholarship provided by the New Zealand Equine Trust, during which she worked on an equine research project. This experience deepened her understanding of the science behind equine health and welfare.
Danielle’s report “Neonatal Maladjustment Syndrome in a Throughbred Foal” was published in the NZERF Spring 2020 Bulletin.
