Dr Laurinda Oliver
NZERF Board Member - NZEVA

Dr Laurinda Oliver, BSc, BVSc, MS, DiplACVS, represents the Equine Branch of the NZVA on the NZERF board.

Dr Laurinda Oliver is a board-certified equine surgeon with extensive international experience in both clinical practice and research. A Massey University graduate, she completed advanced surgical training in the United States, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Laurinda has a strong interest in orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery of sport and performance horses and is committed to improving equine welfare through practical, evidence-based research. Her experience spans referral practice, industry collaboration, and mentorship of veterinary colleagues.

Based in New Zealand, Laurinda brings specialist expertise and a collaborative perspective to the NZERF board, supporting its mission to advance equine science and clinical excellence.
